Sea moss is a tough, stringy red, yellow, or purple seaweed that grows up to six inches high on rocks in tidal pools along the northern Atlantic. Because it grows on rocks, it absorbs many of the minerals and other key nutrients from the rocks themselves.

*Sea moss is rinsed and washed with either lime water. Soaked in a ceramic, glassware, or stainless steel container with your choice of purified or alkalize water. It is then blended into a gel-like paste.
